Clay roses journey

I used to tell my teacher that I didn’t like making clay roses. No matter how many I saw, they never caught my interest, and I couldn’t figure out how to shape those delicate petals. My teacher just smiled and said, “It takes imagination.” I wasn’t sure if he meant the imagination of the artist or the one admiring the work. Then one day, I came across a bouquet of soft-colored clay roses on Facebook—so delicate, so charming. That moment changed everything. Since then, I’ve been experimenting with different forms and shades, always striving to create a rose that feels just right. I may not have achieved it yet, but I know I will.
